As a young man, Kenneth Burns was influenced by Bob Dylan's music and Sandy Koufax's pitching. Each of them stirred the depth of creativity and sparked the flow of movement that would appear later on in his art.
Once retired, he discovered the joy of painting while using pastels, colored pencils, watercolors and acrylics. He is a member of the Nyack Art Collective and has displayed his work at the Richard Boyd Gallery in Portland Maine, The Art Students League (Vytlacil campus) in Sparkhill N.Y. and Edward Hopper House in Nyack N.Y.
Creativity, although dormant for a long time, is now his main focus and drive. By experimenting with photography and various painting techniques:
Kenneth Burns has found his voice.
